Description

  • Implement individualized treatment plans using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Support children with developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Follow tailored Behavior plan designed by a BCBA
  • Work in a variety of settings: center, in-home, schools and comunity settings. 
  • Collect data, track progress, and contribute to the success of each child’s goals
  • Be an active part of a collaborative and caring clinical team

Requirements


  • Hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and ensuring the well-being of individuals served.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, valuing open communication and mutual support.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior support plans and interventions developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Board Certified Assistant Analyst (BCaBA)
  • Utilize person-centered approaches and evidence-based strategies to teach and reinforce essential life skills.
  • Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition to facilitate data-based decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA or other supervisors to develop and modify behavior support plans as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals and their families, promoting a collaborative and empowering environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of service provided.
